LittleSoundDj (LSDj) by Johan Kotlinkski is a tracker style program for making music on your gameboy. LSDj takes advantage of the gameboy's sound hardware and turns it into a full fledged workstation for synthesis and sequencing.

These tutorials will help you get the most out of this amazing program, starting with the very basics of tracking and working up to advanced topics such as programming effects, using soft synthesis, and loading your own samples.

It is assumed that you have already have LSDj running, either on a gameboy or in one of the many emulators. What you see on your screen may not exactly match the images in the tutorials but it will be close enough for you to follow allong.

If you discover any errors in these tutorials, or find something isn't explained well, or can think of a better way to address a topic, please drop me a note.

If you have questions beyond the material covered in the tutorials read the LSDj manual, check the LSDj wiki, and search the LSDj mailing list archives. If your question remains don't be afraid to ask, since you did a little research first the response will be friendlier!

Also, don't be discouraged if you are new to tracking or making music and your early efforts don't sound like what you hear in your head. Most experienced trackers admit that their first fifty or so tracks were terrible at best . . . so stick with it and don't forget to have fun!
